The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

CHFA’s Research, Marketing, and Outreach department creates interactive dashboards displaying CHFA investment, housing, and other related data on a regular basis. These dashboards include data on CHFA’s Single Family lending, Multifamily Development, and other housing market and economic trends.
Explore the data behind CHFA’s Housing Needs Assessment.
As a major industry partner, the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) seeks to continuously respond to the housing needs of our residents. To do so, we must stay abreast of key market trends, world events, and economic conditions that impact Connecticut families. In this way, we better position ourselves to serve our communities by creating programs and solutions that address these challenges. In late 2023, CHFA published its second Housing Needs Assessment (HNA). The goal of the HNA is provide as close to real time data as possible for CHFA and its partners to make informed data-driven decisions. CHFA is excited to bring the HNA to life with an interactive dashboard. The data contained in the dashboard will be updated regularly.
This dashboard details the Federal Housing Finance Agency’s House Price Index (HPI) by State and Metropolitan Area. The HPI is a broad measure of the movement of single-family house prices and serves as a timely, accurate indicator of house price trends at varying geographic levels.
This dashboard explores Connecticut’s housing market and CHFA’s lending in each of the state’s counties and municipalities.
