The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

 

Board Policy Statements and CHFA Procedures

Board Policy Statements are adopted by CHFA's Board of Directors to provide guidance to staff and the public on specific topics.  Each Board Policy Statement includes: 

  • A brief and clear statement to provide context for CHFA's position, within which CHFA decision-making will occur.  The statement does not limit CHFA's discretion, but provides a degree of predictability of purpose and intent. 
  • A statement of general parameters to guide staff and inform the public on the implementation of the policy to ensure consistency with CHFA expectations.  Guidelines are not rules, but a set of parameters within which management discretion and authority can be exercised.
