CHFA Invites Public Comment at July Board Meeting

CHFA is holding its July Board meeting on Thursday, July 29 at 10:00 AM at its offices in Rocky Hill.  Members of the public will have the opportunity to voice their questions, concerns and comments directly to CHFA’s Board of Directors during a public comment portion at the beginning of the meeting. The Board of Directors looks forward to hearing from as many people as possible about the wide range of housing issues facing Connecticut residents. 
 
Anyone wishing to speak on any housing matter may sign up with CHFA.  In order to ensure that everyone who wishes to has the opportunity to speak, we ask that comments be limited to five minutes.  If necessary due to a large volume of speakers, comments may be limited to three minutes. 
 
The Board meeting will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010.  Speakers will be heard in the order they sign up on a first-come, first-served basis.  If you wish to sign up, please contact Mary Bryant at mary.bryant@chfa.org, or by calling 860.571.4221.  You will be asked to provide the general topic you will be addressing as well as contact information.  Participants may also sign up in person on the day of the meeting. 
 
The Board meeting will begin at 10:00 AM, with the first agenda item being the public comment portion.  All speakers are invited to stay and listen to the other agenda items.
