MULTIFAMILY INSURANCE
REQUIREMENTS

Connecticut Housing Finance Authority's Multifamily Division has
Insurance Specification Requirements for developments with permanent,
construction and group home financing. CHFA's specifications were developed to adequately protect the Authority's and owner's assets, while keeping the cost affordable. The levels of coverage are in the best interest of all parties.

All insurance policies and policy renewals must meet these specifications. Failure to comply will be cause for the Authority to place appropriate levels of insurance at the expense of the development. Insurance carriers should be provided with this information.
