Common Interest Community Common
Element Repair Program

The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority offers the Common Interest
Community Common Element Repair Program to finance repairs to common
elements of condominiums and housing cooperatives when other financing is not available. Examples of eligible capital repairs are roof, roadway, and heating plant improvements.

This pilot program has a maximum loan amount of $200,000. To be eligible, at least 75% of the condominium unit owners must be low- to moderate-income, and 70% of the units must be owner-occupied.
