Each month CHFA staff provide free training to Participating Lender underwriters, processors, loan officers and loan originators. Those interested in taking a training class must call to register.** The classes are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are limited to a maximum of 25 people per class.

The training consists of an overview of how to qualify a borrower, a review of the various programs offered by CHFA, how to put together loan packages for review by CHFA underwriters, as well as a review of: CHFA forms, Federal Recapture Tax, and the Downpayment Assistance Program. Closing informational packets are also distributed together with a complete training packet for class attendees.
