Request
for Proposals: Next Steps Supportive Housing Initiative Development
Round III
Deadline: 12 noon - July 25, 2008
The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA), the Department
of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), the Department
of Social Services (DSS), the Department of Children and Families
(DCF), the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD),
and the Office of Policy and Management (OPM) of the State of Connecticut
are pleased to announce the release of this Request for Proposals
(RFP), soliciting applications for capital financing, project-based
rental assistance, and support service funding for supportive housing
development projects. This is the third round of anticipated funding
for development under the Next Steps Initiative.

Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (the “Authority”)
and GE Money Bank (“GE”), the consumer and small business
financial services unit of General Electric, are pleased to announce
the release of this Request for Proposals (this “RFP”),
soliciting responses for first mortgage construction and/or permanent
financing for mixed-use and/or mixed-income multifamily rental and/or
homeownership opportunity housing development proposals in downtown
Bridgeport.

Connecticut Housing Finance Authority requests proposals for Corbin
Heights and Pinnacle Heights Extension Redevelopment. Developers
invited to respond have demonstrated successful experience in the
design and completion of development projects similar in size and
scope to that of the Development required herein by their response
to the RFQ previously published by the Authority. (posted 5/2/06
- 8/1/06)

THOSE DEVELOPERS SELECTED THROUGH THE RFQ PROCESS WERE INVITED BY
THE AUTHORITY TO RESPOND TO THIS RFP. ALTHOUGH THE TIME FOR RESPONSE
HAS ENDED, IT IS POSTED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES.
This
